Fyllde 60 år tidigare under 2012 och firar med att ge sig ut på turné med ett band. Moore har sedan 1968 släppt ca 400 releaser och över hundra musikvideos. Musiken beskrivs oftast som Lo-Fi pop, men spretar åt de flesta håll, Ariel Pink är ett stort fan och de har på senare år börjat samarbeta vilket resulterade i förra årets skiva Ku Klux Glam! Han har nyligen prytt den engelska tidningen WIRE framsida och har uppmärksammats på Pitchfork.
After creating over 400 brilliant albums and hundreds of music videos from his own bedroom studio, lo-fi luminary R. Stevie Moore will be going on his first world tour at age 59. Aside from this being his maiden voyage, another element that makes the tour monumental is that R. Stevie will be backed by bad boy Brooklyn band Tropical Ooze. Together, they’re whittling down a solid set list from 1,000s of songs to deliver the shiniest gems. On top of that, R. Stevie will be releasing his newest album, Advanced, and the tour will be documented for an upcoming feature-length documentary about R. Stevie’s life and work entitled Phonography.
A huge influence on other DIY musicians such as Ariel Pink, R. Stevie is in demand more than ever before. Just last year, indie music blog www.sickoftheradio.com released over 200 songs in eight volumes of R. Stevie covers by such artists as Ariel Pink, Jason Falkner, and Jad Fair.

SORK is Pontus Torstensson on drums and samplings, Helena Engarås on bas. Magdalena Ågren – voice, trombone, stylofone and syntesizer.
As a fully charged battery Sork explodes in the summer heat and the corrosive acid flowing out of transistor radios, and stain the white summer clothes. Sork is sometimes restrained and monotonically with insanely distorted bass and beautiful vocal melodies, sometimes exploding postpunk with megaphone vocals, frenetic drums and a mental illness trombone.
